Veterans Protest

The NHS is supposed to give War Pensioners priority treatment, most war pensioners will tell you that this is a standing joke.
 
From my own experience I told the psychiatrist that I was a war pensioner and that I am suppoed to get priority treatment, he said to me "I sit in with The NHS Trust Managers, the only people who get priority treatemnt are the ones who are a danger to the public, you are not a danger to public, but you do have a poor quality of life, you hide behind drawn curtains, suffer panic attacks and have PTSD but that is not a priority for the NHS". This meant I had to wait two years to see a psychologist.
